An offshore steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and order in an offshore facility. Their duties primarily involve housekeeping, catering, and laundry services, ensuring a comfortable and safe living environment for offshore personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

Housekeeping:

• Cleaning and sanitizing living quarters, common areas, and offices
• Making beds, changing linens, and keeping rooms tidy
• Ensuring proper waste disposal and recycling

Catering:

• Assisting with food preparation and serving
• Maintaining inventory of food and supplies
• Setting up and cleaning dining areas

Laundry:

• Collecting, washing, drying, and ironing laundry
• Maintaining laundry equipment

General Maintenance:

• Reporting maintenance issues and assisting with minor repairs
• Ensuring safety standards are met

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen or authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical fitness and stamina to handle demanding tasks
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety procedures
• Basic food handling and hygiene practices
• Experience in housekeeping or catering preferred
