In May 1969, we acquired four hospitals, some additional care facilities and real estate for the future development of hospitals. The work Conifer is doing will help provide the foundation for better health for clients across the country, through the delivery of healthcare-focused revenue cycle management and value-based care solutions. Selects, sets-up, calibrates and adjusts monitoring equipment in accordance with physician orders. Ensures continued proper functioning of equipment; troubleshoots equipment problems as identified. Collects, transmits, and documents pertinent patient data to the Registered Nurse (RN) with correct interpretations and interval measurements on each patient at required intervals every shift and with any significant rhythm change. Maintains current monitored patients in the system; confers with nursing staff to determine correct validation counts and alarm parameters for patients. Reports alarms and changes of rhythm to RN staff. Greets, screens and processes incoming unit/dept calls, patients, visitors, and messages. Transcribes physician orders, enters tests, and treatment requests into system. Assembles and maintains patient medical records including posting of results. Up to $5,000 Sign-On Bonus available based on experience. POSITION SUMMARY The monitor tech provides continuous cardiac monitor observation and the documentation of the patient's rhythm on both a routinely designated schedule and episodically for changes in the patient's baseline rhythm or for any arrhythmias should they develop. Must pass EKG testing.
