The position:

Our client, Respire Homecare Services, is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for its Northwest Chicago suburbs home health market. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing patient/client respiratory equipment needs and selecting, instructing, and troubleshooting appropriate equipment and/or services, including care planning, clinical assessments, discharge planning, patient/caregiver training, therapy administration, education regarding diagnosis, and symptom management to reduce hospital readmissions. Our patients/clients receive assessments in their homes

The opportunity:

This is a highly flexible and independent role. You can make your own guaranteed 40-hour schedule with overtime pay if you choose to work extra hours. A competitive compensation package, including a sign-on bonus, is offered with this role. In addition, this is a Monday-Friday 8-5 scheduled position...no weekends or nights.

The requirements:

You must have graduated from an accredited respiratory care program and be licensed in IL. At least two years of hospital-based respiratory care experience and one year of home care experience are preferred. Lastly, a genuine desire to help others will take you far in this company.
