Job Description:


  • The Guidewire Policy Center Architect plays a pivotal role in crafting and executing solutions with the platform's latest advancements.
  • With an in-depth grasp of the new features, modules, and integration frameworks of version 10, the architect spearheads technical design, aligns it with business goals and IT strategies, and enhances our Guidewire ecosystem's functionality.


Role Responsibilities:


  • Design and implement robust, scalable solutions using Guidewire Policy Center v10 to meet business requirements.
  • Translate intricate business requirements into technical solutions within the Policy Center framework.


Technical Qualifications:


  • At least 8 years of experience in Guidewire Policy Center development, including experience as a Technical Lead on at least three full-scale commercial policy product implementations.
  • *Demonstrated leadership and post-implementation ownership of Guidewire Policy Center products.
  • A minimum of 8 years leading and managing onshore/offshore development teams for Guidewire product implementations.
  • Over 10 years of Java development experience, with Guidewire Policy Center certification preferred.
  • Expertise in Guidewire APIs, Product Designer, GX Model, and integrations.
  • Proven experience with Guidewire Rating engine and configurations.
  • Knowledge of Guidewire Renewal API and data migration strategies.
  • Familiarity with ALM best practices for code versioning, integration, release management, and maintenance of Guidewire Policy Center products.
  • Experience with Guidewire application partitioning and optimization for performance and scalability.
  • Proficiency in secure software development practices and architectural standards specific to Guidewire configurations and integrations.
  • Experienced with Agile SCRUM methodology and tools (TFS, Rally, JIRA, etc.) in a technical leadership capacity.
  • Skilled in managing DevOps processes, including Builds, CI/CD Pipelines, and Version Control.


General Qualifications:


  • Commercial P&C insurance knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and adept at guiding teams to solutions.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.


Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field is strongly preferred.
