This role is responsible for identifying and driving account growth opportunities while fostering innovation that delivers on our clients' business goals. This role works with our portfolio of Retail clients and will be responsible for delivering a variety of quick-turn campaigns within this vertical.In General, On a Typical Day You Will:Partner with Creative, Revenue, and Client Solutions leads to develop insight-driven strategies for a portfolio of accounts focused on driving new business and scaling existing accountsProvide a sound business justification for investments in influencer marketing based on market trends, audience insights, past campaign data, and experienceDrive the strategic direction for accounts by working directly with client and account team focusing on audience targeting, creative, and media distributionAnswer client objectives by leveraging a deep understanding of the marketing funnelEnsure account media plan, messaging and measurement approach aligns with the account strategy and client's business goalsPresent/pitch the strategic approach and associated media strategy to the client along with Revenue and Client Solutions with the goal of aligning the client's KPIs to achieve successful business outcomesWork with the account team to interpret and present campaign data, providing recommended adjustments and optimizations leading to improved performance and account successDevelop a strategic roadmap for each account with buy-in from the Revenue lead, Client Solutions and execution leads that outlines short and long term strategies with tactical plans for driving business growthLeads the campaign recap process by translating campaign data into actionable insights and future optimizations across audience targeting, creative, planning, and mediaElevate the team's skill level and knowledge in strategy by creating frameworks and mental models that can be replicated across portfolio teamsBeing a Director of Strategy and Insights Requires:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience8+ years agency experience in media buying/planning, omni-channel marketing, or previous strategy rolesDeep understanding of end to end influencer campaigns, including creative strategy, creator frameworks, and measurement strategiesExperience working closely with Creative teams to lead data driven campaign conceptsForward-thinking with a balance of strong analytical skills and creative thinking.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (i.e. spreadsheet formatting, pivot tables, vlookups) and Google SuiteExpertise in media planning tools such as YouGov, GWI, Helixa, and SimmonsExperience constructing Boolean queries and using social listening tools (i.e. Brandwatch, Infegy, etc.) to analyze mentions, sentiment, consumer cohorts, and trendsExperience with survey design and quantitative survey analysis for audience segmentation and insightsKnowledge of leveraging social content data and providing actionable insights and recommendations on content strategies driven by cultureA highly collaborative team leader with a proven track record in effectively managing their own workload and proactively communicating with key stakeholdersProven ability to successfully work with and guide senior-level clients and internal portfolio teamsSelf-motivated and driven, enthusiastic about the digital space and multi-channel marketingSolid understanding of media buying and channel allocation best practicesStrong presentation skills and the ability to articulate and apply strategic thinkingExcellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to interact professionally with external and internal clientsKnowledgeable of all major social platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, Twitter, YouTubeStay up to date on the latest trends and innovations in the social realmThrives within a dynamic and evolving environment, competent at generating process and structure where none existsBonus Points If:Experience at an integrated marketing organization or creative agencyYou're passionate about social media and/or influencer marketingSalary range:$120,000 - $160,000Influential is an equal opportunity employer.
