Mechanical And Piping Insulator PositionWe are looking to hire skilled Mechanical and Piping Insulators to join our Mechanical team for ongoing work at King's Bay Naval Base, GA and the surrounding area. All work is to be performed on the military base and is paid the required Davis-Bacon prevailing wage, specific to the base. This role involves applying insulating materials to mechanical systems, ductwork, and piping to control and maintain temperature, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and safety standards.Pay: $30-45 per hourBenefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K with match, 1 week of vacation and accrued sick timeKey Responsibilities:Apply insulating materials to mechanical systems, ductwork, and piping to control and maintain temperatureUtilize appropriate equipment and techniques to ensure efficiency and safetyCollaborate with team members to meet project milestones and quality standardsAdhere to all safety protocols and implement best practices in support of RQ Construction's Mission, Vision, and ValuesEducation & Experience Requirements:High school diploma or G.E.D. is the minimum education requiredCompletion of a Union, private (in-house), military, or trade school apprenticeship program preferred4 or more years of field or trade work experience as a journey-level mechanical piping insulator in a commercial, or facilities operations setting; government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred.Compensation & Benefits:Competitive hourly rates, commensurate with experience.Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) with company matchAll work is performed on the military base and is paid the required Davis-Bacon prevailing wage specific to the Kings Bay military baseWhy Join RQ Construction?National Presence: Work on high-impact projects across the United States, including significant military installations.Career Growth: Opportunities for skill development and advancement within a growing company.Commitment to Excellence: Be part of a team dedicated to delivering quality and safety in every project.RQ Construction, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
