Job Description:

Henlius USA Inc.is seeking a highly experienced and driven Senior/Principal Scientist to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will contribute significantly to our protein purification and biochemistry efforts, advancing our protein therapeutics research and development programs. This role requires deep expertise in protein purification, analytical, and biochemistry area. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading complex R&D projects and developing method for novel complicated molecules. This candidate maintains a hands-on approach in the laboratory, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results. The candidate will have a ‘can-do’ attitude and collaborate closely with the protein science group to drive innovation and achieve project milestones.

Qualifications:

Deep expertise in protein purification, analytical techniques, and biochemistry.

Proven track record of leading complex R&D projects.

Strong background in developing methods for novel, complicated molecules.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Requirements:

Master’s or Ph.D. degree in biochemistry, molecular biology, structural biology, chemical engineering, or a related discipline with postdoc and industry experience.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in protein purification and biochemistry, with a significant portion in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology setting.

Demonstrated expertise in the purification and characterization of therapeutic proteins.

Hands-on experience in chromatographic separation using AF, IEX, HIC, MMC, and SEC.

Strong background in protein characterization using multi-dimensional methods (SEC, UV/Vis, RP/IEX/HIC/SEC HPLC, DLS/MALS, CE, DSF/DSC, LC-MS).

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Extensive experience with all protein characterization techniques and ability to troubleshoot from the bench.

Molecular design and cloning experience will be a plus.

Experience with IND filing documentation preparation and knowledge of regulatory requirements are desired.

Familiarity with bioinformatics tools for protein analysis.

Must be able to thrive and deliver results on goals in a fast-paced, dynamic, and highly multi-tasking environment.

Must possess excellent communication and presentation skills.
