The world's leading organizations turn to Stratasys to transform product design, bring agility to manufacturing and supply chains, and improve patient care.The Collections Specialist manages business-to-business collection activities and ensures timely customer payments. This role collaborates with management to recommend payment terms and assess credit limits. The specialist also handles complex payment and account reconciliations, communicates effectively with customers, and resolves both internal and external issues professionally and positively.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:Ensures the customer master data file is maintained completely and accuratelyContacts customers to collect on past due accountsPerforms customer account reconciliations and works directly with customers if needed to resolve any differencesProperly documents conversations and actions taken on customer accountsGenerates monthly statements for customersEncounters and properly handles dissatisfied and unruly customers and is able to obtain diplomatic resolutionsWorks cross-functionally with order administration, sales, and other departments and accountants to get duties and tasks completedProcess credit card paymentsProvides timely and accurate collection summaries and recommendations as requestedDemonstrates commitment to Stratasys Core Values by leading, acting and behaving in a manner consistent with these valuesBasic Qualifications:Associate's degree in accounting or equivalentMinimum 4 years of previous Collections experienceExperience establishing and modifying credit limits and negotiating payment plans, all while maintaining good customer relationsPreferred Qualifications:2+ years of experience handling reconciliationsAR / Advanced Collections in OracleWhen you join Stratasys, you'll gain access to benefits and perks that will support you and your family both inside and outside of work. For this position, the typical annual starting base salary is from $46,617 to $56,277, which does not include 4% annual incentive pay or benefits. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. Your individual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, geographical location, and/or experience.Stratasys will provide reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities.
