A vibrant community of passionate colleagues. Your Role as a Nutrition Specialist Counsel patients according to physician orders and dietary guidelines. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in patient care. Evaluate nutrition referral orders to ensure effective intake methods. Document relevant information in patients' medical records following established standards. Develop and implement nutrition care plans, accommodating special dietary needs. Conduct calorie counts and provide appropriate recommendations. Review and approve menus for nutritional adequacy. Qualifications Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association. State licensure is required. Membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics is preferred. A Bachelor's or advanced degree in Food & Nutrition from an accredited institution.
