CNC Programmer

Our client provides advanced machining services that benefit various industries including defense, aviation, and medical sectors. They are hiring a CNC Programmer.

Focus:

  • Analyze and interpret customer blueprints, including geometric dimensioning and tolerance, as well as technical specifications.
  • Expertise in MasterCam programming is essential; familiarity with SolidWorks software is advantageous.
  • Develop and modify three, four, and five-axis programs for CNC 5-axis machines.
  • Experience with Matsuura and Fanuc controls is highly desirable.
  • Partner closely with the quoting team to support new project initiatives.
  • Design and model fixturing components, and produce detailed drawings as needed.
  • Provide support to machine operators, quality assurance, and management by troubleshooting machining challenges and recommending best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO9001 standards, including documentation, revision control, traceability, and lot control.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Excellent communication and customer service capabilities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to follow instructions and adapt as necessary.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in CNC programming with MasterCam.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a machinist.
