The Tank Brewing Co is a craft brewery company located in Miami, FL. Our team is a unique combination of brewers and a cigar industry veteran, resulting in a mash up of different cultures and backgrounds that can be tasted in our brews. We pride ourselves on creating unique tasting beers that blend different influences and ingredients.


Description of Position


As District Sales Manager (DM), this role entails overseeing the strategic direction and execution of our sales efforts, and the promotion of the The Tank Brewing brands. This position offers a distinctive opportunity to have a significant impact on the growth and success of our brewery. A good District Manager can effectively communicate the qualities of a brand to consumers while building demand, awareness, and market share for The Tank Brewing. The District Manager at The Tank Brewing will do all those things while also embodying and fostering the core values and culture of The Tank Brewing. The District Manager will work closely with the CEO of the Brewery and the Marketing Manager to develop and execute comprehensive annual plans for brand growth. Furthermore, the District Sales Manager is responsible for delivery yearly revenue goals, growth target and profit target (EBITDA). 


Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned based on business needs)

  • Set and represent the standard of excellence in sales, leadership, and management, for the sales organization and other brewery managers.
  • Own and represent the Sales Department and communication of conditions, trends, analysis, action plans and needs to other managers.
  • Act as department’s loudest advocate and toughest critic to constantly strive for nothing short of excellence.
  • Develop and implement Annual Business Plan for the company and each distributor partner.
  • Responsible for managing, mentoring and growing a high performing sales team to execute end to end sales.
  • Provide leadership and ongoing oversight to the sales and marketing teams
  • Collaboration with executive leadership team on ongoing basis
  • Direct distributors focus and execution as primary communicator and business manager of distributors.
  • Conduct Monthly Business Reviews with Distributors
  • Forecast all orders by working closely with Production Manager.
  • Oversee orders and direct inventory management of all distributor partners.
  • Communicate with distributors on all team efforts and results.
  • Oversee and manage projects such as new product launches, new territory development, annual promotions, performance incentives and program implementation.
  • Responsible for developing new strategies and promote business growth in market share while adhering to our core values.
  • Develop pricing structures, strategies, forecasting and develop annual and long-term business plans
  • Provide sales staff with sales data, market trends, forecasts and new product information
  • Support our distributors with sales training, collateral and best practices
  • Communicate effectively and regularly with other team members as well as taproom, distribution, marketing, brewery production staff, and leadership.
  • Represent the company and brand at festivals; tap takeovers, beer dinners, tastings, and events in a professional manner.
  • Conduct account-level meetings to build and improve relationships.
  • Regularly visit accounts across the territory, cultivate new relationships and strengthen existing ones.

Education and Qualifications:

University degree in Marketing or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional sales department. Strong computer skills are a must.
