That's why we need you, a systems software developer with the expertise required to analyze our simulator's system dependencies, determine requirements for new capabilities, manage configurations and updates for hardware, and maintain a nominal operating environment in a hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) simulation lab.As a systems software developer of airborne platforms and ground support systems HWIL, you'll review priorities and concepts to identify requirements, system dependencies, and potential areas of security weakness. You'll review technical and environmental details from subject matter experts, engineering documentation, and engineers to help recommend testing priorities. Once priorities have been determined, you will work with the team internally to develop and configure our simulation and data logging framework for all required test bed modifications along with automation scripts needed for synchronization of system components for testing execution. Your expertise will be invaluable during integration, test execution, data aggregation, and reporting.As a systems software developer, you'll identify the right mix of tools and techniques to research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, and industrial, military, communications, and aerospace computing applications. You'll set operational specifications and formulate and analyze software requirements. You will apply principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD).
