Career And Education LeadScope Of Position: The Career and Education Lead will oversee WIOA program implementation, ensuring compliance, staff development, and effective service delivery to support jobseekers in securing sustainable employment. This position will provide leadership and direction to team members and excellent customer service to internal and external participants.ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions:Ensure assigned team and program resources are being utilized appropriatelyEstablish professional working relationships with partners and community organizationsMaintain accurate participant tracking informationAttend required meetings and apprise team of discussions held at these meetingsAddress human resource and team concernsProvide positive vision for required changes during program operationUtilize positive communication techniques to resolve issuesCommunicate with team members to incorporate appropriate concepts/suggestionsAnalyze and understand labor market informationReport directly to Program Team Manager and communicate performance, success, and challenges during weekly check-insManage relationships with community partners and services providersEnsure team member compliance with contract goals and WIOA regulations and guidelinesConduct performance reviews and appraisals for team members and provide feedback and guidanceMonitor team performance and report outcomesOther opportunities as availableQualificationsBachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and 35 years of relevant leadership experienceSkills and experience in providing career and workforce development assistanceProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsMust have notable experience in a team-oriented environmentAble to converse with a wide range of professionals and demonstrate a positive professional attitudeMust have reliable transportation to and from the worksite and other required locationsA valid driver's license & clean driving record required
