Risk Specialists at Capital One are the front line of defense to ensure our Company remains stable and profitable.Risk Specialists at Capital One are highly motivated Risk Management professionals with excellent organizational and communication skills. They have a high level of exposure across lines of business and have the opportunity to create and implement innovative solutions to identify and mitigate potential risks to the Company.Responsibilities:Relationship management - coordinates, influences and negotiates - ensures timelines are met and projects move forward; drives investigation and/or problem solving for projectsAnalysis and Recommendations - Takes results and data and helps business understand implications and determine next steps.Communicating and reporting on results of assessments, and processes.Researching and problem-solvingBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's DegreeAt least 1 year of experience in Risk ManagementPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree2+ years of Process or Project Management experiencePMP Certification or Masters Certificate of Project Management (CPM)At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.Houston, TX: $72,800 - $83,100 for Risk SpecialistCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
