Must-Have Skills and Experience

  • (3-8 years) Model-Based Definition (MBD) annotations, also known as Product and Manufacturing Information (PMI), application in NX and/or Creo.
  • Experience with actual mechanical product definition, manufacturing, and inspection
  • Deep technical expertise for digital product realization processes and software (design, manufacturing, and inspection/quality).
  • Proven presentation creation and delivery ability. 
  • Demonstrable ability to deliver a document with creativity and precision within a short period of time. Being able to close tasks and keep activities moving forward to meet deadlines is a must.
  • Aptitude and willingness for project management for our growing portfolio of customer projects.
  • Willingness to become adept in 3D CAD platforms outside your expertise.
  • Experience incorporating standards requirements into product development activities.
  • Familiarity with MBD interoperability toolsets from, but not limited to: Anark, Autodesk, BCT Technology, B&W, Capvidia, CoLab Software, CoreTechnologie, Dassault, Dimensional Control Systems, Elysium, InnovMetric, ITI, Kotem, Kubotek, Metrologic Group, Origin International, PTC, Siemens, Sigmetrix, Verisurf.
  • Familiarity with interoperable formats (3D PDF/PRC, HTML5, JT, QIF, STEP AP 242).
  • GD&T minimum fundamentals with an openness to resetting your GD&T understanding.


Nice-to-Have Skills and Experience

  • Established standards participation in product definition standards from AIA, ASME, DOD Standards, DMSC, INCOSE, ISO, SAE, and others.
  • Application engineering experience.
  • Sales experience of technical products.
  • Project management experience.
  • Quality experience within the product realization processes.
  • Fabrication experience within the product realization processes.
  • CNC and/or CMM programming experience.
  • CAD admin experience from the CAD user perspective.

Task & Responsibility Expectations

  • Lead standards requirements consensus efforts on client projects.
  • Run a project team and be responsible for budget, schedule, and tasking.
  • Model Siemens NX and PTC Creo components and assemblies from scratch, and repair/remodel existing NX components and assemblies to allow for optimal MBD authoring and downstream re-use.

Compensation

$145,600 to $187,200 per year
