The ideal candidate will bring a balance of deliverables management, release management, and patch management experience, with a technical background that enables effective collaboration with tech teams and leadership of sprints.

This position requires strong Agile/Scrum methodology expertise, along with excellent soft skills to ensure projects are delivered to goal. While Ad Sales experience is not mandatory, the ability to drive programs in a complex technical ecosystem is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed program plans and timelines, accounting for all dependencies.
  • Ensure transparency of progress, risks, and issues, proactively driving mitigation and contingency planning.
  • Communicate program updates, risks, and summaries to key stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Align involved teams on roles, responsibilities, and accountability for deliverables.
  • Facilitate QA and build activities, ensuring adherence to timelines and objectives.
  • Track, manage, and report budgets, ensuring financial accountability for projects.
  • Perform capacity planning for teams, ensuring resources are effectively allocated.
  • Collaborate across multiple technology teams, coordinating schedules, deliverables, and dependencies.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of technical components, architecture, tools, and deployment practices.
  • Track and report key program metrics, informing stakeholders as necessary.
  • Independently resolve conflicts within associated teams, ensuring smooth execution.
  • Navigate the organization effectively to drive progress, even amid ambiguity.
  • Exhibit strong leadership qualities, problem-solving skills, and decision-making abilities.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, when applicable.
  • May manage Agile ceremonies and processes at the team-of-teams level.

Must-Have Qualifications:

Core Experience & Skills:

  • 5+ years managing large-scale, strategic software development programs in a global technology organization.
  • Strong experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or Scaled Agile).
  • Proven ability to balance both Scrum Lead & Project Management responsibilities.
  • Experience with deliverables management, release management, and patch management.
  • Ability to lead sprints and work effectively with tech teams.
  • Strong risk management, contingency planning, and issue resolution capabilities.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and executive reporting skills.

Technical Background:

  • Understanding of software infrastructure and DevOps (preferred but highly beneficial).
  • Familiarity with technical components, architecture, tools, and deployment practices.
  • Experience working across multiple technology teams and managing dependencies.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive progress.
  • Effective conflict resolution and team coordination abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, meeting facilitation, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a media technology environment.
  • Background in software infrastructure and DevOps.
  • Knowledge of Ad Tech domain or an aptitude for learning complex technology-based engineering environments.
  • Formal Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP, SAFe, CSM).
