Glazier JobAs a Glazier, you will play a crucial role in cutting, sanding, edging laminated safety glass, and assembling based on detailed instructions provided by the supervisor. You will aid in the movement of component parts to the assembly area and ensure the proper assembly of parts by reading blueprints and materials lists.Responsibilities:Receive production orders from the Team Leader and cut, sand, and edge laminated safety glass as instructed.Assemble components based on work orders and supervisor instructions.Aid in the movement of component parts to the assembly area and finished parts to the next operation.Read blueprints and materials lists to ensure proper parts are being assembled.Accurately scan into and out of work orders and record counts of glass pieces and assemblies.Assist in assembly in other departments as needed.Essential Skills:Proficiency in glazing and assembly techniques.Experience with measurement tools, cutting tools, sand, and edge assembly.Ability to read blueprints and understand assembly drawings and bill of materials.Basic proficiency in English to comply with verbal and written directions.Additional Skills & Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.2-5 years of manual glazing/assembly experience.Strong desire to learn on the job.Ability to read a tape measure and operate simple power and manual hand tools.Reliability, good work ethic, and high integrity.Why Work Here?Enjoy comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits along with 401k once permanent.
