We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect to join our team. This role blends solution architecture, hands-on implementation, and presales engagement. The ideal candidate will design and implement technical solutions supporting Cloud Migration and DevSecOps services, while also helping prospective customers understand the value and benefits Foxhole brings. You will work closely with Innovation, Business Development, and Proposal teams to translate opportunity requirements into scalable, reliable, and secure solutions, and actively participate in workshops, technical presentations, and proof-of-concepts. Job Description Partner with business stakeholders, capture managers, and proposal teams to understand opportunity requirements and design innovative, mission-aligned solutions.Architect and document scalable, secure Cloud and DevSecOps solutions for proposals, marketing collateral, and client delivery.Drive presales activities by leading solution workshops, delivering technical presentations, and demonstrating proofs-of-concept to showcase Foxhole's capabilities.Guide implementation teams, ensuring solutions meet performance, security, and scalability standards.Provide mentorship and technical leadership across engineering and innovation teams.Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies, tools, and best practices into Foxhole's service offerings.Support R&D initiatives in our dedicated cloud-connected lab, advancing solution prototypes and innovation.Conduct system reviews and assessments to identify opportunities for optimization and transformation.Design, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), including integration with associated repository servicesMaintain and optimize hybrid on-premises and cloud infrastructure environments to ensure seamless operations across platforms with a focus on data brokering across the environmentsBuild, maintain, and optimize cloud-based DevSecOps automated pipeline infrastructure; integrate automated testing tools to ensure code quality and securityDevelop and implement PowerShell Command Line Interface (CLI) scripts to automate cloud infrastructure management tasksAdminister and troubleshoot Windows and Linux operating systems in enterprise environmentsWork with Docker containerization technology to support application deployment and scalabilityUtilize version control systems, particularly Git/GitHub, to manage code repositories and collaborate with development teamsDevelop custom solutions for clients, streamline processes, and enhance tech infrastructure to support business objectives. Take on leadership roles, identify strategies, and make high-level decisions.Design, develop, and present technical solutions tailored to client requirementsOptimizes processes to improve efficiency and client satisfactionEvaluate and enhance infrastructure to support solution implementation and scalingCoordinate cross-departmental efforts to ensure solution compatibility and success Minimum Requirements 10+ years of general IT experience with 8 years of system/app development focus in US Federal agenciesBachelor's degree in an Information Technology discipline or 8 years of relevant IT experienceExperience supporting Azure, AWS, and other Cloud Service Provider (CSP) platforms along with demonstrated cloud scripting capabilitiesExperience supporting Cloud/On Prem hybrid solutionsAdvanced knowledge and experience with network technologiesProficient with network tools such as Microsoft Azure Console, AWS Management Console, Kali Linux, and general O/S related firewall technologiesExtensive experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL, Centos, Debian) and other server-class operating systemsExperience with virtualization technologies, such as VMWare, Xen, Proxmox, etc.Experience building, deploying, and supporting complex systems/applications and associated infrastructures, on-prem or cloud deployedExperience incorporating security controls into development, delivery, and operational processes (DevSecOps)Experience with database connectivity and understanding of data structures and transformation methodsExperience documenting technical solution architecture for technical implementation, customer approval, proposals, and white papersOutstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical topics to non-technical audiencesStrong background reviewing and analyzing new systems (hardware and software) and providing security recommendationsAbility to collaborate effectively with other engineers and BD specialistsMust possess DoD - Secret or gain within 6 months of employment Desired Experience/Certifications 6+ years as Solution Architect or Technical Solutions LeaderJIRA administration experience, including workflow configuration, user management, and project setup.Knowledge of relational database systems such as MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle, including query optimization and database design principlesExperience supporting presales activities, including customer-facing technical discussions, solution demonstrations, and participation in proposal oralsProposal support leading Technical Oral presentations and written volume development.Possess a Top Secret / SSBI or Secret upgradeable to TS.
