Company Description

Install IoT is a dynamic startup dedicated to enhancing the operational efficiency of companies through expert Internet of Things (IoT) solutions. We specialize in device demos, full installations, and maintenance services, ensuring seamless integration and optimum performance of IoT systems.

One of our verticals is IoT Architecture. Our founders are IoT startup veterans and have personally designed and built solutions for Fortune 50 companies all over the globe. We’re now looking to expand our team to include other brilliant IoT architects who understand the technology, business, and structure of Intent of Things.

 

Job Summary

As an IoT Solutions Architect, you will design, source, and implement cutting-edge IoT solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients. Your expertise in IoT technologies like LoRaWAN, Bluetooth, Wifi, Sigfox and more will be crucial in transforming client requirements into practical, scalable, and robust IoT architectures. We have a strong preference towards architects familiar with industrial protocols like MODBUS and CANBUS as we do a lot of work in manufacturing.


Responsibilities

  • Analyze client requirements to design comprehensive IoT solutions that align with their business goals.
  • Develop and validate system architectures, including hardware selection, connectivity solutions, and integration strategies. Select technologies from an IoT portfolio that match customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients, installers, and internal teams to ensure seamless implementation of IoT solutions.
  • Conduct system validation and troubleshooting, ensuring high reliability and performance.
  • Provide technical guidance and on-call support to project teams, including IoT technicians and installers.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in IoT solutions.
  • Document all phases of the IoT solution architecture process.
  • Develop documentation for all proposed and implemented IoT architectures in a clean and professional manner.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as an IoT Solutions Architect or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful IoT implementations.
  • Deep understanding of IoT technologies, including LoRa, Bluetooth, Wifi, NB-IoT, satellite, sensors, actuators, connectivity, cloud computing, device management,
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++. Familiarity with JSON-style querying and posting and API configuration.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.


Compensation

  • $50/hour, negotiable based on experience.
  • Path towards career advancement and higher pay and a full-time position.
