The Store Leaders 2 must maintain up to date promotional materials and is responsible for hiring and training the store staff. This position supervises others including 2 Assistant Store Leaders, Senior Guest Advisors, Guest Advisors, and Seasonal Associates in both store locations. The Store Leader 2 will always act in accordance with GameStop's policies, practices, and core values. The Store Leader 2 must have a strong focus on customer satisfaction and meeting monthly sales goals, be an excellent communicator, and demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:Manage and lead in a multiunit capacity, with the ability to multitask and direct a larger team across two store locationsConsistently provide direct leadership, support, and guidance to the Assistant Store Leaders at both store locationsMotivate the sales team to meet sales objectives and loss prevention goals through training and mentoringHire, train, supervise, and develop two store staffsCoach and counsel associates, monitor and review performance, develop staff focusing on individual and team performance improvementLead associates to drive a sales culture that maximizes store profitabilityLead by example, delivering excellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfactionResolve customer concerns and complaints in a timely, professional mannerEnsure visual and operational elements are consistent with Company standardsProtect Company assets through effective inventory control and loss prevention practicesQualifications for Education and/or Experience:Must be at least 18 years of ageHigh school diploma required; An Associate's or accredited Bachelor's degree preferred3+ years of experience working in a retail sales environment; 1+ year of experience in a supervisory or managerial roleMinimum Job Skills and Abilities:Ability to lead in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environmentExcellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work a rotating schedule, including nights and weekendsAbility to follow instructions presented in written, oral or diagram formAbility to communicate effectively with others using spoken and written English; ability to speak and/or write in other languages a plusMust be able to work up to 44 hours per weekPhysical Job Requirements:Must be able to work alone, move throughout the store unassisted and stand for extended periods of time (8 hours or more per day)The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 poundsWalk, use hands and fingers to handle small objects or controls, reach and stretch with hands and arms, balance, bend, stoop, reach with arms and hands, kneel and crawl, talk and hear, and climb on laddersMust be able to occasionally travel unassisted via carSpecific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, the ability to look at the computer screen for extended periods of time and the ability to adjust focusGameStop and its affiliated businesses reserve the right to change job descriptions at any time based on business conditions/needs, which includes expanding this job's responsibilities and assigning additional duties consistent with the position's purpose.
