Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Registered Nurse at BAPTIST MEMORIAL HOSPITAL-DESOTO INC in Southaven, Mississippi. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing patient needs, administering medications, and documenting patient information accurately. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, and you will monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatments. Additionally, you will provide education and emotional support to patients and their families and ensure compliance with medical protocols and standards of care.


Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Mississippi
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with healthcare professionals
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
  • Experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred
  • CPR certification
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
