Responsibilities Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize York's tax position and advise senior management on the tax impact of business activities. Oversee the accurate and timely preparation and filing of all federal, state, local and international tax returns and reports. Oversee the accurate and timely preparation of quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations in accordance with ASC 740 Interact with M&A team to maximize tax attributes in proposed transactions Represent York in any tax audits conducted by any tax authorities Identify and mitigate tax risks to ensure York operates in compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations. Responsible for directing outside service providers performing various functions including compliance activities Other responsibilities as required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation and a minimum of five (5) years of relevant tax experience. Strong knowledge of US GAAP ASC 740 Big 4 tax experience a plus but not required Indirect tax experience a plus Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other software tools to enhance efficiency and data analysis. Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, working independently with minimal supervision.
