As part of efforts to enhance content production and create innovative campaigns in a rapidly changing and dynamic marketplace, we seek a member of the Consumer Engagement team that works to support the strategy, content and activation of marketing programs at global scale.


The landscape of consumer and brand marketing has changed and adapted to strive for an Omnichannel experience that engages the consumer across all touchpoints of their journey. The ideal consumer experience is one that seamlessly transitions across channels, with content designed and optimized for each channel while maintaining a holistic and cohesive story.


The primary role of the Assistant Manager of Content Strategy is to aid in the Go to Market strategy development and execution by managing and shaping the content strategy. In partnership with cross-functional teams, the Assistant Manager outlines content needs and works with Creative to ensure the production of compelling assets that will live across all owned global channels and lead to the success of the program. Participation in the development of campaign concept, strategy, scope, creation, delivery and activation are important aspects of this role.


All content created should resonate with the existing consumer base; however, also be differentiated and engaging to draw in new key consumer segments. The content strategy for programs should drive brand awareness, consumer acquisition, engagement and sales, as well as be informed by our unique brand identity and business strategy.


The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work productively across departments as collaboration among cross-functional teams is critical to ensure a holistic Go to Market strategy and programs that deliver enhanced consumer relevance and engagement. This individual needs a passion for great storytelling to bring a brand’s messaging to life in a unique and authentic way.


KEY RESPONSIBILITES

Go-to-Market Strategy and Development

  • the Director, Consumer Engagement in the development of comprehensive 360° campaign support behind product launches and programs to ensure they are strategic and cohesive across channels and content is optimized based on platform. Programs should be released on time and within budget
  • key go-to-market development milestones (i.e. Creative Brief, Go-to-Market Toolkit) and timelines for assigned programs

Partner with cross-functional teams to collect and understand individual channel needs and then consolidate all asset needs to ensure the proper support for each channel, cohesive storytelling execution and delivery

Partner with International team to ensure alignment on regionally specific content needs and gain deeper understanding of best practice in various markets

  • the Director, Consumer Engagement in ad hoc program requests and initiatives, updating and evolving processes and templates and bringing cross-functional teams together to drive concept creation

Acts as liaison with Creative, Creative Operations and Production team to align on asset needs, timelines, streamlined processes, budget prioritization. Work with the Creative team to ensure that the assets created align with individual channel strategy while cohesively laddering up into the overarching campaign

Represent the Consumer Engagement on set at program shoots (photo, video) when needed.

  • Assist in establishing key performance metrics and consistently optimize content/campaigns to drive measurable business results, based on continual feedback from regional/local teams

Leverage social and digital analytics, CRM data and consumer insights to generate fresh ideas

Push continual innovation of content and go to market strategies based on inspiration from competitive analysis.


QUALIFICATIONS

4+ years of related experience

Strong project management skills and follow-through on details

Proactive with the ability and maturity to manage a multitude of projects in a fast-paced environment

Ability to build, foster and nurture strong relationships and gain the respect of members of the cross-functional and affiliate teams

Comfort level with regular interactions with senior management

Excellent communication skills
