Foreign Language Research Analyst Part - Time ChineseRiverside Research Institute is seeking a Foreign Language Research Analyst Part - Time Chinese to work in Dayton, OH. Our Foreign Language Research Analysts source, translate, organize, analyze, and summarize information on topics of interest to our customer. In the course of their research, they will translate foreign language text, audio files, or video clips. They prepare reference documents, draft research papers, and present findings in formal briefings.Responsibilities:Source, translate, organize, analyze, and summarize information on topics of interest from foreign research publications, peer-reviewed journal articles, papers, audio files, or video clipsPrepare reference documents, draft research papers, and present findings in formal briefings; populate databases with key informationOther duties as assignedQualifications:Ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance with SCI adjudicationCurrently enrolled in and completed at least 3 years of instruction towards a Bachelor's Degree in International Affairs, Area Studies, Economics, Intelligence Studies, or any science, technology, engineering or mathematics disciplineIntermediate to advanced language proficiency in ChineseExperience with web-based researchStrong verbal and written communication skillsExperience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Self-motivated, independent, detail-oriented, responsible team playerMust live in or relocate to a commutable distance to Wright Patterson Airforce Base and surrounding areas.Desired Qualifications:Currently enrolled in a master's degree or PhD in international Affairs, Area Studies, Economics, Intelligence Studies, or any science, technology, engineering or mathematics disciplineKnowledge of Chinese political, military, and/or university systemsKnowledge of and/or experience with Chinese cultureExperience conducting research in technical areas in ChineseExperience conducting research as part of a teamStrong briefing skills with experience presenting material in a public forumGlobal Comp: $20 to $30 (hour) This represents the typical compensation range for this position based on experience, location and other factors.
