You like to ask questions, test assumptions, and challenge conventional thinking.You develop influential relationships based upon shared risk objectives and trust to deliver outstanding business impact.You create energy and an environment that fosters trust, collaboration, and belonging, making it easy to attract, hire, and retain top talent.You are a trusted advisor both leading and driving effective and relevant risk management conversations with Divisional Business and Tech leadership and their teams.You are an informed consultant to develop and deliver appropriate messages on risk themes and challenge remediation activities.You are an approachable and effective partner to navigate regulatory and compliance requirements to help develop fit for purpose solutions with the ability to flex where appropriateResponsibilities:Build successful relationships with our Investment, Product, Data and other team members to understand the impact of business and technology risk on critical business processesPerform risk reviews during various processes such as Risk Control and Self Assessments (RCSAs), Process Level Assessments (PLA), Exceptions, Applications, Targeted Risk Assessments and recommend on risk mitigation activities.Influence leaders within Investments, Compliance, Product, Data, Cyber, second line risk organizations, and Internal Audit on key technology risks and actions as neededConduct periodic risk reviews with the executives and support reporting for risk metricsDevelop risk analysis, perform deep dive investigations, and drive specific risk initiatives to minimize risk posture and strengthen overall control suite effectivenessDesign and support internal risk and control governance processesIdentify and implement continual risk program enhancements based on industry standards and best practices in alignment with Capital One's strategic risk directionSupport the Enterprise Services (ES) Risk organization by implementing new and innovative ideasBasic Qualifications:High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent CertificationAt least 4 years of experience in the Financial Services or Technology industryAt least 4 years of experience in project, program, process, or risk managementAt least 4 years of experience facilitating and leading discussions across various disciplinesPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or military experienceKnowledge of the UK and US regulatory landscapes5+ years of experience in risk management, technology, or a related disciplineAt least 5 years of leading highly cross-functional programsAt least 5 years of experience consulting with senior executives and strategy building5 years of experience supporting internal and external business clients with a deep understanding of Investment, Product and Data risk in the areas of security considerations, sustainability, business resilience and data restrictionsExperience in controls development, controls management, risk reporting activities such as process level assessments and risk and control self assessmentsStrong organization skills and ability to support multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent verbal presentation and written communication skills to confidently interact with and lead meetings at all levelsExcellent problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills to effectively respond to shifting priorities, demands and timelinesAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this positionThe minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.Chicago, IL: $144,000 - $164,400 for Manager, Cyber Risk & AnalysisMcLean, VA: $158,400 - $180,800 for Manager, Cyber Risk & AnalysisNew York, NY: $172,800 - $197,200 for Manager, Cyber Risk & AnalysisPlano, TX: $144,000 - $164,400 for Manager, Cyber Risk & AnalysisRichmond, VA: $144,000 - $164,400 for Manager, Cyber Risk & AnalysisWilmington, DE: $144,000 - $164,400 for Manager, Cyber Risk & AnalysisCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
