Radar Engineer and Scientist

Key Role:

The position will focus on leading current and future radar system design and production. You will support technology developments, insertions, prototyping, and demonstrations supporting a mission-critical and highly visible program. Responsibilities will includebut are not limited toperforming complex radar system engineering, design, analysis, or sensor software development, being experienced in formulating opinions anddecisions, and ultimate performance of the engineering tasks associated with the radar/sensor program/project, performing detailed and complex calculations and knowledge of practices/principles necessary to assess advanced radar systems concepts, assess specifications and perform system integration.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of practices and principles necessary to assess advanced radar systems concepts, assess specifications, and perform system integration

  • Ability to perform detailed complex calculations

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor‘s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics and 4+ years of experience in the DoD and radar systems or Master‘s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics and 2+ years of experience in the DoD and radar systems

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with Navy radars

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual‘s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen‘s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
