Overview:
Seeking a senior Programmer Analyst to serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders. Responsibilities include supporting Treasury's mainframe applications (COBOL, XGEN), gathering requirements, writing test cases, and ensuring system documentation compliance with DTMB standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and validate requirements for IT solutions.
- Support and maintain Treasury’s COBOL and XGEN applications.
- Oversee change management, defect tracking, and test result validation.
- Collaborate on redesign and program specifications based on test results.
- Lead artifact reviews and ensure adherence to agency policies.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor's in a technical field (Math, Computer Science, Engineering).
- 5+ years in COBOL or XGEN programming and requirements gathering.
- Strong communication and experience in test case writing.
Evaluate and inform DTMB management and support client agency of impact and risks to existing IT solutions due to proposed legislation, enhancement requests, and changes in governmental processes or procedures.
