Product Design Engineer

Our client, renowned for creating fun, innovative, and uniquely designed coolers, beverage pouches, and backpacks, is seeking a Creative Product Design Engineer. In this role, you will help design and create new products, applying your design engineering expertise to develop items such as coolers, backpacks, and couches. Collaborating with the CEO, who also serves as the Head Product Designer, you'll take concepts from ideation to final production. Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the CEO and other team members to generate innovative product ideas and concepts.
  • Develop detailed product designs using 3D modeling software.
  • Create and test prototypes to refine product designs.
  • Work with manufacturers to oversee the production process and ensure products meet quality and design specifications.
  • Conduct research to stay informed about industry trends and technologies.
  • Present design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders and gather feedback.
  • Prepare detailed designs and specifications for manufacturing.


Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years of experience in product design, preferably in a related industry.
  • Proficiency in 3D design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino, or Autodesk Fusion.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Experience working directly with factories for product production is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Engineering, or a related field preferred but not required.
