Caregiver: Overnights

Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow our clients to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care, and compassion. We have a variety of shifts available (8a-1p, 12p-5p, 8a-5p, 1p-10p, 5p-10p, 10p-8a) with starting wages ranging from $14 to $16/ hour with paid training.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Assistance with and/or hands-on showering and bathing
• Assistance with dressing/grooming
• Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Transportation assistance
• Alzheimer's Care
• Hospice Care

Requirements of a Caregiver:

• No previous experience necessary - skills training provided by Home Instead
• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Valid driver's license
• Complete and pass a criminal background check and drug screen
