We strive to create a positive and fun atmosphere where our team members feel valued and are enthusiastic about the contributions they make to the success of Leslie's.Job OverviewAs the Assistant Manager (AM), you will support the performance of a Leslie's store to ensure that it meets or exceeds customer service standards, sales plans, profitability, operating procedures, and all merchandising objectives. You will also learn best practices to train and develop your team and set the expectation of providing excellent customer service as you lead by example.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the General Manager to learn overall expectations and procedures of store operations, sales plans, profit margins, payroll and all controllable expenses (P&L)Conducted water analysis and mechanical repairsIncrease commercial and residential sales and customer countsEnsure that the team is following all safety protocolsIdentifying new talent to join the teamMaintain a welcoming store environmentAssist with merchandising and inventory controlOpening and closing store responsibilities that may include the delivery of daily bank depositQualificationsMust be at least 18 years of ageHigh School Diploma or Equivalent, or currently attending High SchoolA valid driver's license with reliable transportation1 year of customer service experience or retail experienceExperience managing/leading a teamAbility to achieve placement in the succession programExcellent communication skills and proficiency with computersAbility to complete required training within two months of hireThe ability to lift 50 lbs.Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 / hourWe offer our employees competitive compensation, extensive paid training, comprehensive and flexible suite of benefits package, 401K with company match, team member discounts, rewards for top performers, and most importantly career advancement opportunities.Leslie's recognizes a critical component to our continued success is our people.
