At By Your Side Home Care, caregivers build relationships, improve the quality of life, and serve the elderly in need of love and care. The compassion a caregiver provides, brings joy, and helps clients feel encouraged, involved, and loved.

Caregiver responsibilities may include:

  • Preparing snacks and meals to the client’s satisfaction
  • Encouraging various actives to keep client active physically and mentally
  • Transporting the client to nearby appointments, social activities, or visit with family and friends.
  • Tidying up the house with basic housekeeping tasks that keep the home environment neat and safe for the client.
  • Providing companionship by playing a game, a puzzle or reading a book.
  • Ensuring the clients personal care needs are met while maintaining their dignity and encouraging independence
  • Medication observation for clients who need friendly reminders

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour (based on skills, experience, client needs)

Where: Lancaster and York Counties

Shifts Available:

  •  2 hours short shifts
  •  8–12-hour shifts
  •  Overnights with sleep
  •  Overnight awake  
  •  Live-in

Premium rates are paid for overnight awake, weekend, holiday and short shifts.

 

COVID-19 considerations:
