Our client is looking for an accomplished Lead Developer with extensive expertise in Java and a deep understanding of Generative AI technologies, including hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot. The successful candidate will bring over a decade of software development experience and a history of leading complex projects that integrate cutting-edge AI solutions to optimize development workflows and enhance product innovation.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design, development, and deployment of Java applications that incorporate advanced Generative AI capabilitiesUtilize GitHub Copilot to accelerate coding efficiency and uphold high standards of code quality, while mentoring team members on best practicesPartner with AI specialists and data scientists to embed AI models and algorithms into software productsArchitect scalable microservices and RESTful APIs that meet evolving business needsOversee application performance, security, and reliability throughout the software lifecycleConduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to foster team growthStay informed on emerging AI and software development trends to drive continuous innovationCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals, scope, and deliverablesRequirementsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related disciplineProven experience (8+ years) as a Java Developer with a strong track record of successful project leadershipDeep knowledge of Generative AI frameworks and practical experience with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub CopilotProficiency in Spring Framework, Hibernate, and other core Java technologiesExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including their AI servicesSkilled in database design and management, with expertise in SQL databases like MySQL and PostgreSQLExceptional problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering qualityStrong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills to guide and inspire development teamsBenefitsJoin our client’s team to lead transformative projects that shape the future of AI-powered software.
