Logistics Transportation Manager

The Logistics Transportation Manager position will oversee and manage various aspects of loading, operations, transportation and logistics execution processes. Also will oversee the transportation delivery and monitor shipments tracking.

Responsibilities:
- Manage logistics transportation loading and operations to ensure efficient and timely execution of shipments
- Oversee on-time delivery compared to required delivery dates (RDD) and appointments, including Customer Service Representative (CSR) interactions and Track & Trace activities
- Analyze, communicate, and provide resolutions for operations and planning issues to ensure smooth logistics operations
- Monitor shipment tracking and verify in-transit information, including customer appointments, to proactively address any delays or issues
- Identify pending operational issues in regions/bases and collaborate with stakeholders to establish solutions, business processes, operation guidelines, and inspection standards for each type of logistics
- Improve operations through on-site and off-site training initiatives for logistics staff
- Troubleshoot special requirement operations and transportation issues, providing timely resolutions to minimize disruptions
- Prepare and deliver required weekly, quarterly, and monthly reports on transportation operations and performance metrics
- Manage and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to transportation, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed
- Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required to support decision-making and strategic initiatives
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 8+ years of Proven experience in logistics transportation management, with a focus on operations execution and performance optimization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex logistics data and identify opportunities for improvement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects, including the development and implementation of logistics processes and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS) and logistics tracking tools
- Proficient in MS Office applications such as Excel/PowerPoint/Word/Outlook
- Experience in preparing and delivering reports and presentations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work

Your base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This allows you to progress as you grow and develop within the position.
Your base pay will depend on your skills, education, qualifications, experience, and location.
