We are looking for a full-time Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. The Housekeeping Supervisor reports to the Director of Housekeeping and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping Department and for ensuring that the community is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner./ppResponsibilities:/pulliAssist in developing the annual budget and plan for the overall task accomplishment of the Housekeeping Department for supplies, equipment and labor./liliMaintain records and schedules, initiate work assignments and time spent on tasks./liliResponsible for maintaining the communitys clean and orderly appearance at all times in order to entice prospective residents to desire to live at the community./liliEnsure that all personnel performing tasks that involve potential exposure to blood, body fluids, or hazardous chemicals participate in appropriate in-service training programs prior to performing such tasks./liliReview and understand policies and procedures outlined in the employee handbook and Human Resources Policy and Procedure Manual./liliDevelop and maintain job descriptions and performance evaluations for housekeeping staff./liliCoordinate housekeeping services and activities with other related departments (dietary, nursing, etc.)./liliMonitor absenteeism to ensure that an adequate number of housekeeping personnel are on duty at all times./liliAssure that all community residents, employees and visitors follow the established safety and fire regulations including the Right to Know Act./liliEnsure that adequate supplies and equipment are maintained to meet the daily needs of the community and residents./liliAssure that residents are treated equally and within the guidelines of Civil Rights.
