Experienced Software Engineer

What You'll Do We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our Workspace Services Engineering Enablement team. Our team focuses on enabling our Workspace colleagues with automation, best practices, and development frameworks to enhance technology delivery. This role requires strong foundation in cloud infrastructure, development, and experience on Agile teams. Key Responsibilities: Work closely within your engineering team, architecture, and business partners to develop high quality applications for our customers. Identify and propose strategies around technical problems affecting the business, communicate standards, and get consensus on solutions. Experiment with new tools and practices to deliver business value in an agile organization. Actively participate with team during pairing, mobbing, and design. Design and implementation of automation frameworks and data engineering pipelines across cloud and hybrid environments. Adhere and advocate for DevOps best practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud governance standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support distributed application architectures. Architect and execute on-premise to AWS application migrations, ensuring performance, scalability, and security. Automate operational tasks and workflows using Python, PowerShell, ServiceNow Citizen Development, Microsoft Power Platform, and GitHub Actions Administrator and support ServiceNow Citizen Development for the enterprise. Who You Are We are looking for someone with: Associate's or bachelor's degree (preference in a computer science, technology, engineering or math-related field or equivalent experience) and 2+ years work experience or equivalent experience Experience in object oriented programming and/or scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell is required. Experience with Citizen Development/low code platforms like ServiceNow and Microsoft Power Platform is required. Experience with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines is required. Must have the desire to learn new technology and continuously grow. Experience designing, developing, and maintaining system integrations, including working with APIs, third-party services, and internal platforms to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability across applications. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies. Deep understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architectures. Additional Preferred experience: Familiarity with Azure and Microsoft 365 integration and automation. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies like Ansible and Terraform. Experience in migrating on-premise applications to AWS. May be required to provide on-call support. Salary Range Information Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly) $75000 - $123000 / year Time Off Program Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don't accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.
