Responsible for making sure the restaurant meets the needs of customers and help maintain the day-to-day cleanliness of building and/or basic facility maintenance while keeping the restaurant maintenance while keeping the restaurant and parking lot in clean and orderly condition.Principal Areas of ResponsibilitiesMaintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and power washingFollow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipmentClean, monitor and maintain restrooms, vestibules, store entrance areasEmpty or compact trash cans for proper disposal; pick up trash on the lot and sweep curbsClean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using appropriate cleaners and equipmentReplenish paper products and sanitary suppliesOccasionally use heavy cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, power washers, backpack vacuums and buffersOrganize and clean stock areas, coolers and freezers.Other duties as assigned, as required by scope of work or customer needsFollow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulationsFollow schedule, manage time effectively and be independently motivatedAbility to read and comprehend instruction, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively communicate information in one-on-one to other employees of the organization, Attention to detail and the initiative to take on tasks without being monitored.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; and use hands. The employee frequently is required to talk and hear.
