You will be responsible for servicing and deepening participant relationships by providing foundational retirement strategy and insights, general portfolio needs, and resolving complex situations. As part of our sales team, you will identify and qualify high-value participants to a Retirement Specialist or Financial Consultant who will deliver enhanced personalized consultations. Come join our team and help our clients be successful in their investment and retirement planningResponsibilitiesServe as the initial point of contact for inbound participant service requestsRespond to requests for investment, mutual fund, and account information. Resolve complex account issuesIdentify and qualify participants to be referred to a Retirement Specialists and/or Financial Consultants to advance the relationshipDemonstrate a consultative approach to gain a thorough understanding of the participant's needs and offer appropriate solutionsRetain assets through education and guidance of available plan-specific and general distribution optionsDeliver on defined sales targets and other role-based responsibilitiesUnderstand the overall Financial Services industry and related legal, tax, and regulatory issues to guide clientsDevelop and maintain proficient knowledge of T. Rowe Price products and servicesFollow up with clients from inbound retention opportunitiesParticipate in special projects and perform other duties as assignedQualificationsRequired:Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experienceFINRA Series 7 and 66 (must be obtained within first 6 months)Exceptional client service skills with strong communication skillsPossess intellectual curiosity and interest in developing business and financial acumenDemonstrate sound judgment, problem-solving skills, and hyper focused on compliance and risk mitigationThe ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and adapt to a wide variety of internal and external factors, all while pursuing excellence with passion and humilityPreferred:4+ years of total relevant work experience within the financial services industryFINRA RequirementsFINRA licenses are required and will be supported for this role. Dedicated paid time and resources are provided to support through the licensing process.Work FlexibilityThis role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home, after the successful completion of a training program.Base Salary RangesPlease review the job posting for the location of this specific opportunity.$57,000 - $73,000 for the location of: Maryland, Colorado, Washington and remote workers$57,000 - $73,000 for the location of: Washington, D.C.$57,000 - $73,000 for the location of: New York, CaliforniaThis job is eligible for overtime pay.Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual's relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package.
