Wellstar Medical Group is seeking an inpatient Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join WellStar Pulmonary Medicine. Wellstar Pulmonary Medicine is a well-established, 60+ physician practice with offices throughout the Metro Atlanta area and integration with all Wellstar Hospitals. The practice includes all aspects of pulmonary medicine, including critical care, sleep medicine, outpatient pulmonary, interventional pulmonary, pulmonary rehab, and clinical research. This position is for a full-time inpatient weekend provider. It will require 80 hours per two-week pay period. This encompasses six 12-hour shifts (7am - 7pm) and one 8-hour shift (7am-3pm). No nights or call. The schedule would be every Saturday and Sunday, along with 1-2 week days with the exception of the holidays which are distributed evenly amongst the team. Job requirements include collaborating with physicians attending to complete inpatient rounding, assist with new consults and perform bedside procedures. This position covers four hospitals: Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Cobb Hospital in Austell, Douglas Hospital in Douglasville and Paulding Hospital in Hiram.
