Armed Special Police Officer PositionWe are currently hiring Armed Special Police officers to work at the Holocaust Museum located in Washington DC. Full-time shifts are available for those who possess a minimum of two years of verifiable armed work experience.Pay Transparency: $33.59Responsibilities:Protect personnel and property in a professional manner.Meet and deal tactfully and politely with general public.Effectively and efficiently screen and process visitors.Conduct internal and external roving foot patrols.Direct trafficAbility to maintain excellent detection rate on x ray machine.Detect and respond to alarms and emergencies.Secure entrances and exits during emergencies.Control keys and lock combinationsCommunicate and remain accessible via two way radio or company issued cellular phoneUnderstand and comply with all requirements defined within company documents to include: Post and General Orders, plans, policies, procedures.Observe and report all offenses/incidentsPerform reporting on utility systemsProvide first aid, CPR, and assist during emergencies as necessary.Must be able to wear protective body armor as a part of the duty uniform.Maintain mandated training requirements in accordance with company guidance.Maintain physical fitness, agility requirements, and weapons qualifications.Ensure safety requirements compliance and safe work practices.Support safety programs Participate in Quality and Process Improvement programs.Perform other duties as assigned.Regular, in-person attendance is required.Qualifications:A United Citizen, twenty-one (21) years of age or older.Must possess a minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.Minimum of two (2) years' experience working as an armed security officer.Must meet all medical and physical standards as outlined in the contract.Meet USHMM background screening requirements.Successful completion of USHMM Special Police Officer Training.Pass and maintain training, medical, and physical fitness standards.BenefitsConstellis offers a comprehensive, total rewards package that includes competitive compensation and a flexible benefits package that reflect its commitment to creating a diverse and supportive workplace.Medical, Vision & Dental Insurance11 Paid Time-Off & Company Paid Holidays401(k) Retirement PlanInsurance: Basic Life & Supplemental LifeHealth & Dental Care Flexible Spending AccountsShort-Term & long-Term DisabilityPersonal Development & Learning OpportunitiesOn-the-job Training, Skills Development & CertificationsCorporate Sponsored Events & Community OutreachWorking ConditionsWork is typically in or around a busy environment and subject to frequent interruptions with long periods of sitting, standing, or walking.
