As a Full-Stack Software Engineer (Data Pipeline Focus) on a 6-person development team, you’ll support a mature and well-integrated software platform that aggregates and analyzes publicly available information (PAI) for hundreds of mission users. You’ll work across the stack—from backend data processing and transformation to front-end visualization—ensuring seamless data integrity and performance. This long-standing program is known for its technical stability, strong collaboration, and measurable mission impact.Schedule and Work DetailsLocation: NBPTelework: Not specified (onsite expected)Schedule: Full-time | 40 hours per week | Day shiftLevel of Effort: 1 FTEStart Date: ImmediateClearance: Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (required)Here’s What Your Day-to-Day Might IncludeContribute to the design, development, and enhancement of a large-scale, data-driven software systemImplement backend services and data workflows supporting ingestion, transformation, and storage of diverse datasetsEnsure system scalability, maintainability, and performance through effective development and testing practicesCollaborate with cross-functional sub-teams to ensure end-to-end dataflow integrityParticipate in code reviews, design discussions, and documentation effortsSupport analysts by ensuring smooth delivery of data to front-end visualizations and toolsStay engaged in a fast-paced team focused on continuous improvement and reliabilityMinimum QualificationsClearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (required).Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, etc.)No prior experience required (0+ years), though technical internships or project work is preferredFour (4) additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for a degreeRequired SkillsSoftware development experience with JavaInterest in data processing and transformation (JSON wrangling, validation, enrichment)Familiarity with Git for version control and Maven for build automationComfortable working in a Linux environmentStrong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilitiesDemonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies and workflowsDesired SkillsFamiliarity with Apache NiFi or similar dataflow toolsExperience with NoSQL databases (Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Redis, Dgraph)Knowledge of the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security)Scripting experience with Python, Groovy, or BashExperience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda)Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins) and automated testing (JUnit)Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)Exposure to Docker or KubernetesFamiliarity with CNO environments or mission operationsCompensation Range: $89,000.00 - $117,000.00 *The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications.
