Responsibilities include:Maximizing contract performance while maintaining supplier relationshipsOwnership for the productivity of assigned contracts through cost reduction, cost avoidance, income generation, and working capital savingsManaging existing contracts to measure performance of contractual terms and conditions against expectations, identifying gaps or opportunities, and managing cross functional team actions to maximize contractual productivity and performanceAccountability for supplier performance inclusive of safety, compliance, quality, delivery, commercial, readiness and all elements within these areasDriving cross functional problem solving and structured action plans for improvement where supplier performance does not meet expectationsLeading cross functional teams to manage supplier relationshipsActing as chief negotiator in significant dealsLeading and being accountable for business approvals, supply award, and contract authoringOwning supplier relationships by driving business reviews on a regular cadenceAssurance of timely resolution of supplier issues for assigned contractsFunctioning as liaison between internal organizations and suppliers for assigned contractsIn partnership with cross-functional teams, interpreting internal and external business challenges and recommending best practices to improve products, processes, or servicesLeading others to find creative solutions within complex contractual landscape with an emphasis on commercial value generation using all available currenciesTravel up to 25% required.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. Minimum 5 years of experience in Commercial Operations, Sourcing/ Procurement, Supplier Relationship Management, Sales, Supply Chain or Contract Management roles.Desired CharacteristicsDemonstrated significant commercial leadership, and experienced in negotiating large, complex deals. Experienced in drafting, negotiating, and closing contracts, including business and legal terms. Acts with humility, seeks perspective of others, and creates an inclusive culture.
