**Hybrid- Atlanta, GA- Qualified applicants will be local to the Atlanta area and willing to work onsite 3 days a week**IT Project Manager Must be local to the Atlanta areaDuration: 6+-month Contract with possible extensionsLocation: Atlanta, GA and willing to work Hybrid schedule (3 days a week onsite)Rate: $60-$68 hourly W2Our client in the Atlanta area is looking for an IT Project Manager that will be responsible for leading multi-disciplinary teams and working with internal IT subject matter experts as well as business partners and external vendors. This candidate will be able to coordinate activities across multiple areas and will work with key stakeholders to define the project scope, timelines, objectives and track budgets, deliverables, risks/issues and project status.Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.Responsibilities: Manage scope, requirements, timeline, cost, quality, human resources, communications and integrationIdentify and manage risks / issues and development of mitigation plansLead meetings for status reporting, scheduling, requirements, resource assignments and deliverablesMaintain document control and track project activities and team communicationsPrepare project reports and dashboards as required by the management teamEnsure project repository is built and maintainedDevelop and review project status with project team and create weekly reportsManage outsourced teams (off-site) including vendor engagementsDevelop and publish communications to project teams, management and project stakeholdersProvide guidance on process and deliverables to the project teamLead project teams in strategic meetings and follow up with meeting notesExperience Requirements: Prior experience managing application development projectsPrior experience managing projects for mainframe applications and experience managing projects transitioning from mainframe to other technology solutions (client/server, SAAS etc.)Experience transitioning from Waterfall to Agile paired with strong Agile background specifically SCRUMAt least 6+ years of proven experience as a Scrum Master leading a software development team diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory, and knowledge of additional Agile approaches (Scaled Agile, Kanban, Release Train Engineer, etc.)Local to Atlanta, GA and can work Hybrid scheduleAdvanced experience with JiraAdvanced knowledge of MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint and ProjectProject Portfolio Management (PPM) tool experienceMust have capability to flex across Scrum Master, Project Manager and Program Manager rolesPrior experience managing transportation, logistics or asset management projects preferredExperience preparing and presenting effective presentations to Executive LeadershipBachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, engineering or a related discipline with an information technology focus; M.B.A. degree desirableSkills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate.
