Clinic Rn, Lpn, Cma/Rma - Gateway Internal MedicineThe Clinical Office Assistant is responsible for providing direct or indirect care, under the supervision of a physician based on their scope of training to patients who present with urgent, emergent or potential health problems, as well as preventive care.Services provided by the Clinic Medical Assistant will include, but are not limited to, general patient care, assistance with procedures, documentation of activities and patient/family education, provide care utilizing established principles and ethical standards as well as policies and procedures established by Deaconess.Education and ExperienceGraduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or graduation from an accredited nursing program required.Experience preferred but not required.Certificates/LicensesCurrent certification/license from one of the below:Certified Medical Assistant- American Association of Medical AssistantsRegistered Medical Assistant- American Medical TechnologistCertified Clinical Medical Assistant- National Health career AssociationNational Certified Medical Assistant- National Center for Competency TestingNationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant- National Association for Health ProfessionalsRegistered Medical Assistant- American Allied HealthCertified Medical Assistant Clinical- American Medical Certification AssociationActive LPN license in state of employmentActive RN license in state of employmentCPR provider certification required.Other key words: Clinic, RN, LPN, CMA, RMA, CCMA, Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Clinic Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, Outpatient, Office, Provider's Office, Phone Nurse, Rooming Nurse, Triage, Gateway, Internal Medicine, Medical Office Building 3Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
