Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Appian Lead Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of building products and applications by leveraging Appian Low Code, Data Fabric, Case Management Studio capability and proven experience in leading the design, development, and implementation of complex applications. As an Appian Architect, you will play a key role in driving the success of our client projects by leveraging your technical expertise and leadership skills.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of Appian applications for our clients.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
  • Ensure best practices in Appian development are followed, including code quality, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Appian features and updates, and recommend improvements to existing solutions.
  • Work closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects and manage client expectations.
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations to demonstrate Appian solutions and capabilities.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in development, with at least 4 years in a lead role by leveraging Appian capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of Appian architecture and components.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing complex Appian solutions.
  • Proficiency in Appian , process modeling, and integration with external systems.
  • Experience with Appian version upgrades and cloud deployments is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Appian certifications are highly desirable.
