Director Of Tutoring And Learning SupportUnder the administrative direction of the Dean of Libraries, eLearning, and Learning Resources, the position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of tutoring and related learning support approaches. The Director stewards ethical, student-focused innovation in tutoring, integrating tools like AI where they amplifynot replacethe personalized, high-touch tutoring experience that drives student success. The position works collaboratively with Library, eLearning, and Writing Center colleagues to create integrated, technology-enhanced learning support systems across the unit.Established in 1926, Skagit Valley College is a comprehensive community college within the Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges providing associates and bachelor's degrees, as well as certificates, in high-quality academic transfer pathways, workforce training, basic education for adults, and lifelong learning opportunities.
