About Position:

Role: Java Architect

Location: Remote

Experience: 10+


What You'll Do:

  • 10+ years of hands on experience in developing cloud-native application or modernizing legacy systems into microservices architecture
  • Hands-on experience in analysis, design, coding, and implementation of complex, custom-built applications with Java/J2EE
  • Experience working with RDBMS such as SQL Server, Casandra & MySQL Db, PostgreSQL
  • Demonstrated application development skills with Java 11+, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Oracle, Microservices Architecture and ORM tools such as Hibernate, Spring Data JPA etc.
  • Expertise in containers, dockers and Kubernetes (Deployment, Pods, HPA, Helm charts etc.).
  • Experience working on GIT/Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Execute and prepare Unit test cases for each module
  • Good understanding of socket programming.
  • Must have expertise in at least one of the clouds (AWS, GCP), GCP experience will be preferred
  • Desired to have Experience in building crypto algorithms.
  • Desired to have Architect level certification from AWS/GCP/Azure.


Expertise You'll Bring:

  • Design architectures, build prototypes and establish design based on business requirements
  • Hands-on development of production worthy code for web applications using the latest Java & Spring based frameworks
  • Deep expertise in containers and Kubernetes
  • Designing/Building new features, maintaining high code quality via tests/code reviews/metrics, and keeping a focus on continuous improvement on all parts of the development process.
  • Understand the architectural principles for integration to downstream applications.
  • Understand Business Object Model and architecture and develop software which conforms to the design and quality standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience speaking to technical and business audiences.
  • Ability to understand and effectively debug both new and existing solutions.
  • Write complex SQL queries, multiple joins with effective use of indexing. Troubleshoot and zero down the issues in the application which are occurring because of database (Bad design, loaded data, heavy query, weak hardware, lack of optimization)
  • Act as a mentor for the team
  • Publish best practices and reference code
  • Perform code reviews, ensure code quality, and encourage a culture of excellence.
  • Actively participate in assisting the team in resolving technical roadblocks and escalate as needed.
