Join our team as an Enterprise Program Manager This is a hybrid role being onsite at HQ in Maple Plain, MN on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.The Enterprise Program Manager is responsible for strategizing, implementing, and overseeing complex cross-functional programs and initiatives that align with organizational strategic objectives. This role ensures successful delivery of enterprise-wide initiatives by integrating business objectives, technology solutions, and process improvements across functional areas including technology, operations, manufacturing, finance, and go-to-market. The Enterprise Program Manager serves as a strategic partner to executives and stakeholders, deriving governance, communication, and execution excellence.You will:Define program scope, goals, success metrics, and deliverables that support business objectivesPartner with senior leadership to align enterprise programs with organizational strategy and prioritiesDevelop and maintain enterprise program roadmaps, business cases, and execution plansManage multiple programs and initiatives in parallel, ensuring teams focus on the correct priorities and deliverablesHold task owners accountable to progress and delivery to ensure efficient and successful executionEstablish governance structures and reporting mechanisms for program performance and risk managementDrive adherence to enterprise program management standards, methodologies, and best practicesMonitor and report on program progress, milestones, and financials to executive stakeholdersLead cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of interdependent projects within the programManage resource allocation, budgets, timelines, and deliverables across multiple workstreamsTrack expenditures and ensure costs are aligned with forecasts and deviations are communicated and managedProvide awareness of estimate/budget updates and variancesIdentify risks, dependencies, and change impacts; develop mitigation strategies to ensure program successServe as the primary liaison between business leaders, IT, and operational teamsFacilitate effective communication, engagement, and decision-making across all levels of the organizationBalance the needs and expectations of diverse groups while driving alignment and adoption of enterprise initiatives through clear messaging and stakeholder collaborationEvaluate program outcomes and proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement in governance, tools, and processes and implement changesMentor and train project managers and program team members in enterprise delivery standards and leadership practicesOther duties as assignedWhat it takes:Bachelor's degree in business, management, information technology or a related area or equivalent combination of education and experience5 or more years of direct program or project management in enterprise-level or large-scale initiativesExperience managing complex programs consisting of multiple projects with multiple inter-dependenciesExperience indirectly/directly leading cross-functional teams to deliver on highly complex programsExperience with standard project management tools and dashboardsExperience in delivering programs in a matrixed organizationInnate sense of accountability/responsibility for successful deliveryStrong influence, organizational, critical thinking, and analytical skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesSkilled in engaging and communicating with a diverse range of individuals at varying levels, including software developers, engineers, executives, manufacturing staff, and other business professionalsFinancial acumen and experience managing large program budgetsAbility to navigate organizational complexity and drive cross-functional collaborationEffective and adaptable style that aligns with the Protolabs culture, emphasizing collaboration, flexibility, innovation, and results orientationStrong interpersonal skills with ability to build trusted relationships across the organizationExperience with enterprise delivery frameworks (Agile, hybrid, or waterfall) and transformation programsFormal project management trainingBonus points for PMI, PMP or PgMP certificationTechnical understanding of websites, client-server applications, software architecturesExperience in managing projects involving CRM systems, particularly SalesforceWorking knowledge of digital manufacturingWhat's in it for you:We offer a competitive Total Rewards Program including:Salary, Bonus, Long Term IncentivesHealth Insurance: Traditional OR High Deductible planFlexible Spending AccountsHealth Savings Account (including employer contributions)Dental & VisionBasic and Supplemental Life InsuranceShort-Term & Long-Term DisabilityPaid caregiver leavePTO + Holiday Pay + Wellness Hours + Volunteer Hours401k with company match & immediate vestEmployee Stock Purchase Program at a 15% discounted rateMatching grants through Protolabs foundationAnd MoreProtolabs offers a competitive total rewards package, and compensation mix varies based on position, such as base wage, as well as other earnings including incentives and commissions.
