We're seeking a dynamic individual to lead customer-facing technical support and contribute to the growth of our client’s presence in semiconductor fabs in Austin and globally. This hybrid role combines sales engineering, new product development, and field technical support, with responsibilities ranging from identifying customer needs and guiding product development to hands-on equipment installation and evaluations.


What They Do:

  • This role focuses on finding solutions for companies by designing and improving products, particularly in the semiconductor industry.
  • Experience with AMAT equipment, as well as LAM, TEL, and PVD, is highly desirable.
  • A key aspect of this role is working with cranes designed for semiconductor tools—overseeing new designs, installations, and training.
  • You’ll be the go-to expert for these new cranes.


Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

You’ll spend much of your time on customer sites, collaborating with engineers to build strong relationships. As a Field Service Engineer (FSE) with a technical sales aspect, you’ll partner with a salesperson, who serves as the initial point of contact with clients, to support and enhance customer relationships.


Qualifications:

  • A.S. or B.S. in engineering or related technical field
  • 7+ years of experience in semiconductor equipment (customer support or fab engineer)
  • Strong knowledge of wafer handling robotics; experience with LAM, TEL, or AMAT is a plus
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills


Travel Expectations:

  • Expect to be on the road about 40-50% of the time. Approximately 40% of this travel will be around the Austin area (including Samsung, Infineon, NXP, and San Antonio tower visits).
  • Another 30% will involve relationship-building.
  • Occasional travel to other states, such as New York, the East or West Coast, and Arizona, will be required.
  • You'll use your own vehicle for local travel and can expense mileage.


Work Schedule:

The schedule is flexible, but the standard work hours are 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
