Sr. Director, Data EngineeringCapital One is seeking a Sr. Director, Data Engineering to work in our CORE (Cloud Operations and Resilience) organization to build a robust data foundation that enables us to drive insights efficiently and effectively. You will spearhead the strategy to modernize our architecture through the delivery of scalable data products, leveraging AI and creative technologies to automate hygiene and governance. Your goal is to eliminate the manual wrangling traditionally required by our technologists, shifting their focus from data discovery to rapid insight generation.This leader must have the ability to attract and recruit the industry's best talent, and simultaneously have the technical chops to ensure that we build compelling, customer-oriented solutions in an iterative methodology. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.McLean, VA: $314,800 - $359,300 for Sr. Dir, Data EngineeringPlano, TX: $286,200 - $326,700 for Sr. Dir, Data EngineeringRichmond, VA: $286,200 - $326,700 for Sr. Dir, Data EngineeringCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
