The Fairfield Inn and Suites Madison IN was converted from an old Cotton Mill on the banks of the Ohio River. The hotel opened in 2021 and came out of the gate swinging, winning many assorted awards like Best Renovation for Marriott and Indiana Historic Society, as well as many others.



Job Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a General Manager with Dora Hospitality Group at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Madison, IN. Among the usual duties of a General Manager; oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotels, manage staff, ensure guest satisfaction, and drive revenue growth through effective strategies and customer service, this GM will be responsible for leading the hotel and community to greater heights as the hotel continues to outperform the market. The GM will be an ambassador for the town as an anchor property that will help attract more and more tourism to the Madison market. The GM will be an active member of the community and participate in outreach programs to help keep the reputation and performance of the hotel at an all time high.

  • Financial Acumen and Budgeting skills
  • Customer Service and Relationship Management skills
  • Experience in the hospitality industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
